A seven year veteran in the adult industry, Riley is a throwback to the days when porn was more glamourous, in the same vein as girls like Jenna Jameson and her best friend Jesse Jane. Early Years
Hailing from Escondido, California, Steele worked at a Starbucks and as a snack bar girl at a country club before she got into the industry. Being a big fan of pornographic films and wanting to be considered a sex symbol, Steele travelled to Hollywood in 2005 for the signing for Pirates. It was here that she me some of her favourite pornographic stars, including the beautiful Jesse Jane. Talking about her love of porn in a recent interview with Mens Mag Daily, Steele confesses; “I used to watch porn with my friends and I was a big Jenna Jameson fan but my best friend loved Jenna Haze so he turned me onto her. She was so filthy and dirty and I wanted to be like that. I love a good dirty girl.”
Haze’s Career
After meeting Jessie Jane, she advised Steele to get into the industry. A couple of years later, Steele signed an exclusive contract with Digital Playground and shot her first scene in the 2008 film, Naked Aces 5. The kinky actress had starred in 72 to date including; Riley Steele: Scream, New Dad in Town, Blonde Bombshells, and 7 Minutes in Heaven. Having done a lot of big movies, does Steele have one that stands out as a clear favourite? “I really loved shooting Snow White XXX. It was a great experience for me.” she told Mens Mag Daily. “I played Snow White and wore a black wig. I always wanted to be a brunette but I’m too ditzy. I’m very proud of the fact that I got to work with the amazingly hot Jessica Drake who has always been a role model for me and that the movie made it to number one on the charts. It was my first Wicked Pictures feature with Axel and I’m super excited about its success.”
Outside of the industry, Haze has set her sights on Hollywood. In 2010, Steele appeared in a number of mainstream movies and programmes including; Piranha 3D and Manswers. The following year, she appeared in the TV series: Life on Top and NTSF:SD:SUV. Steele has also appeared as the supporting character @Kaylie@ on the HBO/Cinema series The Girl’s Guide to Depravity. Is mainstream work something she plans on pursuing? “Of course, I’d love to do more mainstream work and I’ve got a lot in the works.” She answered in a recent interview “But I’ve been lucky to have been in some mainstream projects already like “Piranha 3D”, “The Girls Guide To Depravity”, and “Life On Top”.”
