Facials – A Beginner’s Guide

Money shot, cum shot, whatever you want to call it – thanks to pornography, facials have become a fantasy that many want to try for themselves. The idea can be a bit intimidating (we’ve all heard horror stories), but facials can be an act of submission or a way to spice up your oral sex, and while it might not be for everyone, many women enjoy it. It’s kinky enough to feel naughty, but still commonplace enough that you won’t feel awkward discussing the prospect of a facial with your partner.

Safety First

Your eyes are a mucus membrane just like your genitals, so a virus can enter your body and cause an infection. Plus, semen can contain acid phosphate and citric acid, and will sting if you get it in your eyes. The easiest way to avoid this fate is to close your eyes and clean away anything in the general vicinity of your eyes before opening them again. Other alternatives include wearing glasses instead of contacts and ‘aiming’ only on the lower half of your face (or against your cheek).

In the unlikely event that you do get semen in your eye, wipe away with a wet flannel and flush your eye with water or saline/eye-drops. If you’re wearing contact lenses, remove them as soon as possible.

If it goes up your nose or in your mouth, don’t panic. Semen is not only completely harmless, but some studies indicate that it’s packed with benefits. A study led by Leiden University Medical Centre in the Netherlands found that women who swallowed had lower rates of miscarriages, pre-eclampsia, and morning sickness during pregnancy. If that’s not reason enough; new research in the scientific community has revealed that ingestion of hormones present in seminal fluids can combat depression and aid sleeping.

As with any fetish, talk it through with your partner first and plan ahead. Are you going straight for it or are you going to work your way up? Your anatomy provides more than a few options, so if you’re not ready to start with a hardcore facial, choose another place for your guy to finish instead. Advance at your own pace to a full-on-facial. You can start out by asking him to finish on your thighs, ass, stomach, or breasts. If he’s hasn’t come on your body before, he’s going to be excited and happy no matter where you suggest!

You should also discuss mess control, choose where you will be engaging in the activity, and make you sure you have a towel, plenty of tissues, and something to sip on nearby.

Start off doing something else to stimulate each other first. Whether you decide to give him a blow job, or explore and share your pleasure with a kinky foreplay session – remember to take your time and have fun.

While It’s Happening

“I want you to come on my face.”

Nothing is going to sound hotter than letting your partner know that you want it. Many women prefer to be warned by their partner before the finale, and this is definitely something to discuss beforehand.

If you’re ok with swallowing, keep your mouth open. If you’re not comfortable with the idea, smile or tell your partner how much you’re enjoying what’s happening. If you’re not using your hands on your partner, feel free to play with yourself as he ejaculates. Although we recommend closing your eyes when the time comes; watching your partner as he begins to lose control is both incredibly sexy and surprisingly empowering.

Afterwards

It’s OK to laugh! Porn movies don’t show you the aftermath, which involves numerous towels, some possible awkwardness, and a hot shower. Take some time to re-connect with your partner, share a shower, cuddle, and talk it through. What did you both enjoy? What would you change? What would you like to further explore? There is no need to go too in-depth, but reflecting on your sexual experiences will allow you to work on, and improve your sex life.
